Banks Lake:
Sun
and water combine in perfect form in this man made lake that is just a forty
minute drive from Wilson Creek. With a scenic and historic drive over the
trails of yesterday one can enjoy the scenery and then a beautiful
weekend on the lake.
The Lake itself is 30 miles long and over a mile wide.
It has docks for boating, skiing, and fishing. It is open for swimming with Steamboat Rock park
fully developed for families. The hiking enthusiast can climb to the top of the rock
via trail on the south side.
Spring Canyon:
Here
is the vacationers delight. On Lake Roosevelt this beautiful beach houses
docking and launch area. It is just above Grand Coulee which holds the Laser
Light Show through the summer months. 10 acres of grass and picnic areas cap off a
beautiful relaxing summer haven.
Grand Coulee:
A
massive man made structure that is the hear of the irrigation work that has
reshaped the center of Washington into the irrigation area that it is. Host a
great history, a visitors center and a Laser Light Show through the summer.
