We are excited to share some great news! Grant Transit Authority (GTA) has created a new Tuesday route that will take community members from Marlin and Wilson Creek to the Soap Lake Food Bank – completely free.

Here are the details:
• Minimum riders: 3 people per trip
• Pick-up locations & times (Tuesdays):
Marlin Post Office – 10:25 AM
Wilson Creek Post Office – shortly after
• Arrival at Soap Lake Food Bank: 10:55 AM
• Departure from food bank: 11:40 AM (returning to your town)

To reserve a spot, riders must contact GTA 2–3 days in advance so they can schedule drivers and finish the route:
📞 Dispatch: (509) 765-0898 Ext. 101
📧 Email: dart@granttransit.com

If enough riders sign up, this route will run every Tuesday. This service is open to everyone and is completely free — a wonderful way to access healthy food.

At the Soap Lake Food Bank, you may select items directly from the carts, choosing only what you want and need. Please bring large reusable bags if possible. Boxes are also available if needed.
This is a big win for our communities and opens the door to future connections with other towns and cities at little or no cost. GTA also offers transportation options to Spokane Airport and connections to Wenatchee for medical appointments.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact GTA directly.
